Casino Coupe Feedback

Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar Natural. The Casino Coupe is the legendary Casino reborn in an ES-339 body size. It's a racecar coupe-sized version of the iconic hollowbody that for 50 years has powered hits by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, and now Gary Clark Jr. The Casino Coupe’s two P-90 single-coil pickups deliver classic, assertive Casino tones but with more focused midrange and less susceptibility to feedback. The Riviera Custom P-93 has a semihollow design and three P-90 single-coil pickups that provide a wide range of tones and textures. The Epiphone Casino Coupe (Turquoise) is a thinline hollow-body electric guitar which is inspired by the instantly recognisable 1961 Casino, but is presented in a smaller ES-339 sized frame. This makes the Coupe around 85% of the size of the original Casino, whilst retaining all the classic features that has made the original a favourite among. Casino Coupe vs. Les Paul Standard Plustop Pro Help Hi I plan on getting a new guitar, either the Epiphone Casino Coupe or the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop pro. I have an electric already but I am not knowledgeable when it comes to pickups and coil tapping and all those technical terms, so Googling didn't help much. The Casino Coupe is capable of sharp lead tones, clean rhythm punch, and gritty, easily controllable feedback. The dual P-90’s are paired with a 3-way toggle switch, as well as individual volume and tone controls for each pickup.

It's the Classic Casino But 10% Smaller

The Casino Coupe is the iconic hollowbody Casino reborn in a smaller, comfortable ES-339 body size. Featuring Epiphone's Dogear P-90T Classic™ single-coil pickups, a Mahogany neck, and vintage styled machine heads. Now available in Cherry, Vintage Sunburst, and new Turquoise color finishes.

P-90 Single Coil Pickup

Legendary Tone

First introduced in the early 1950s, Gibson's legendary P90 single coil pickup produced a raw powerful tone that helped define the blues and rock and roll in their formative years. Today, the P90's traditional combination of high output and brilliant tone is still considered a favorite among many top musicians. Known by such familiar nicknames as the 'Soapbar' and the 'Cobalt,' the P90 still cuts through any type of music, all while displaying amazing tonal sensitivity for everything from blues and rock to mellow jazz riffs. It's perfect as a vintage replacement, and features vintage, braided two-conductor wiring. It's also fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of unwanted microphonic feedback.

The Casino

The Epiphone Casino’s unique design put it in a class of it’s own, sporting a smaller body depth and a big clear tone. It’s ability to feedback and be overdriven immediately attracted the attention of Paul McCartney, and soon gained a following by the likes of The Beach Boys, Keith Richards and Gary Clark Jr. to name a few. Sporting the same classic styling as the original, the Casino remains a go-to guitar for over two generations of musicians.

Epiphone has been a household name with artists and players alike for over 120 years. Creating some of the most memorable and innovative instruments of our time, it’s classic arch top guitars have remained ubiquitous in rock ’n roll lore.

From Epiphone:
A rock classic in “coupe racing” size

The new Epiphone Casino Coupe has all of the Casino’s trademark tone features--from neck size to tone woods to pickups--but in a “Coupe” size for easy travel. Now you can play the legendary archtop in a smaller size without a smaller sound.
